Fall I.P.E. Poverty Simulation

In November 2025, our AmeriCorps VISTA members participated in an Interprofessional Education Poverty Simulation at WVU Health Sciences to support the education of health science students. The simulation was an in-person experience designed to reflect the real-life challenges faced by families experiencing poverty. During the simulation, the VISTAs acted as community entities, representing the interconnected services and systems that participants needed to navigate.
