CommUNITY Partners

The Community Partner program (CPP) pledges to create an inclusive network of community leaders that utilize innovative collaboration through reciprocal, mutually beneficial relationships to meet community needs, both locally and globally. The CPP commits to supporting community leaders’ engagement and supports partnerships through employing University and community resources to realize WVU’s land grant mission of advancing education, healthcare, and prosperity for all.

The Center is continuously adding new ways for our partners to connect with WVU students. Discover ways your organization can benefit from student volunteers by viewing our academic programs.

Service-Learning

Service-learning allows community partners and students to forge a mutually beneficial relationship through volunteerism. Our students experience a variety of service opportunities in West Virginia and beyond.

iServe

iServe is WVU's volunteer database for community partners. Organizations can post service needs and access valuable volunteer data for grant opportunities. Create an organization page on iServe today!

Purpose2Action

The WVU Purpose2Action (P2A) program is a paid community engagement experience that places Pell-eligible undergraduates with non-profit and public sector organizations to work on mission-driven projects. WVU undergraduate students from any field of study.

We gained a new perspective of our unique privilege as members of our community, and effectively used this privilege to serve others.
