Welcome to the 2026 WVU Week of Engagement
For two decades, the CCE has connected students, faculty, and community partners to create opportunities that strengthen learning, support communities, and bring the land-grant mission to life.
The Week of Engagement is a celebration of those partnerships and the many ways the WVU community can get involved. Throughout the week, we're offering a series of events revolving around our theme of Serve. Learn. Connect. Activities include service projects with our community and campus partners, connection opportunities, and short learning workshops. Whether you're brand new to community engagement or looking to deepen your involvement, there's a place for you in Week of Engagement!
Join us as we celebrate 20 years of impact and look ahead to the future of community engagement at WVU!

Come see us during WVUp All Night for NightServe! We will be doing a project to benefit community partner, Sleep in Heavenly Peace - Monongalia County. Contribute to a great cause while hanging with your friends! We will be in the Mountainlair from 10 pm - 2 am or until all the bolts and washers are assembled.
Even small tasks like adding washers to bolts correctly help prevent loosening, increase the strength of the bed frame, and ensure each bed is reliable. By taking care in these details, students are directly supporting the comfort, safety, and dignity of children who may not have a bed of their own.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace's mission: “NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!” SHP is an organization that builds and delivers beds to children in need of a bed and a safe place to sleep.
