What is the Overview of your role?
I am a Data VISTA at the Center for Community Engagement. I analyze and present data in detailed reports.
Why did you join AmeriCorps?
Fresh out of college and in need of a job, I found AmeriCorps to be the perfect opportunity to kickstart my professional journey. But it wasn't just about gaining experience, I was eager to make a tangible impact. Joining AmeriCorps allowed me to play a vital role in inspiring WVU students to give back to our community through the Center for Community Engagement.
What has been your favorite activity or accomplishment since starting your service?
Learning to use Power BI to analyze data from iServe was one of the highlights of my service. Crafting impactful reports that showcase the impact of volunteer service in West Virginia has been incredibly rewarding. Plus, diving into various service opportunities alongside fellow VISTA members and the CCE has added depth to my service journey.
