Dollars for Disaster
Dollars for Disaster was started by a group of WVU students in 2005 as a response to the Indonesian Tsunami. The initiative has since collected monetary and supply donations for Hurricane Katrina, the Haitian earthquake, the 2016 flooding in Southern West Virginia, and other disasters. We are currently utilizing Dollars for Disaster for flood relief in Southern West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky.Morgantown Arts Walk
Starting March 2022 Main Street Morgantown will be hosting second Saturday Arts Walk from 11:00 – 4:00.
Art is everywhere in our beautiful city. You will find art throughout the downtown not only during Arts Walk but all year long with our murals, statues and art galleries. So indulge your senses by dining at local restaurants, shopping in local businesses who support local artists throughout the year or who are also artists themselves.
Recovery Ally Training
The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program is offering several Recovery Ally training sessions throughout the semester to help faculty, staff and students learn how to support people in recovery from substance use disorders.
